Colleges are constantly working to diversify their campuses and make their institutions more accessible to people of different ethnic, economic, and religious backgrounds. Students of Hispanic heritage can apply for financial assistance from the Hispanic Scholarship Fund in order to pursue higher education opportunities.

2. AICPA Fellowships for Minority Doctoral Students

4. Diverse Scholarship Award from ABA
The goal of the ABA Scholarship is to boost the amount of historically underrepresented groups in the transportation and tourism industry’s top management and operational roles. For consideration, applicants must have a declared major or degree course in-vehicle, travel, and tourism.
To apply, students must submit a 500-word essay highlighting their vision for the future of the transportation, and hospitality sectors.
5. Diversity Scholarships at Augustana University
Full-time domestic students of Hispanic heritage can apply for Augustana University’s Diversity Scholarships, which are awarded based on their admission application. Students can verify their eligibility for scholarships and admissions by contacting the Office of Admissions or the Financial Aid Office.
6. An international scholarship program- Benjamin A. Gilman

An international scholarship program for students with limited financial resources, this Program helps students acquire critical national security and economic competitiveness knowledge. Gilman Scholarship Program applicants must be U.S. citizens enrolled in a 2- or 4-year college or university and receiving a Pell Grant.
7. APSA Minority Scholarship Program
Students who have applied to the doctoral program in political science or are in the initial stages of their applications to participate in the MFP, an annual fellowship competition for students from minority backgrounds.
To be eligible to apply, students must meet all of the following criteria: At the time of applying, the applicant must be an ethnic minority, an American citizen, a Permanent Resident Card holder, or have been awarded deferred action under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Program. The due dates vary from one application to the next.
8. ACS Scholars Program

Chemistry students from minority populations are eligible for ACS scholarships that can be renewed. Apply if you’re a high school chemical science or chemical technology senior or a first, second, or third-year college student. This scholarship is available to students in their fifth year or higher.
You must demonstrate financial need and be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident to be considered on your Free Application for Scholarships form and your Student Aid Report form.
Please be aware that this scholarship is unavailable to students planning to enter Pre-Med or Pharmacy programs. The recipients will be notified by May 15 if they have been selected.
